BCR Youth & Community Centre

THE HEART OF SANCTUARY POINT

Everyone is welcome at the Sanctuary Point Youth & Community Centre. It’s a gathering place for all ages where you will always find a friendly face.

All through the year, the BCR Community Services team delivers flexible programs with the aim of strengthening and empowering our communities through projects that build cohesion, connection, inclusion and wellbeing.

From the Sanctuary Point Youth & Community Centre you can access a wide range of community activities, programs, services and events. We can also provide you with information, assist with forms or resumes and link you with other appropriate support services or emergency food relief.

“I just want to thank you for the your excellent summer holiday program. My daughter was able to attend the sea kayaking, rock climbing and snorkelling. She was initially anxious about all three activities but was glad she pushed through these feelings as she ended up having a great time. After each activity we saw her confidence grow, and she was open to trying new experiences.

 

She made friends and even reconnected with students she
knew from her primary school days. It was a great start to
the school year. She is more confident and willing to step out of her comfort zone. I strongly believe her participation in this program helped her start the year on a positive note."
